Speaker change!

For those that have not heard there has been a change in who will speak at FOTS this year.

Unfortunately, Peter M. had to cancel but Doug M. from Florida will come over instead and share with us his experience of the 12 steps.

If you are planning on coming and don’t have your ticket yet it is time to hurry as we’re almost out of them and the number is limited for insurance reasons (this means that once all the tickets are gone, there’s no getting in!).

Registration for FOTS 2009!

The tickets have arrived so registration for FOTS 2009 has now begun!

The format of this years convention will be a bit different from the previous years as this will be a one day event on Saturday August 29th. You can download the flyer over on the “Flyers” page.

Feel free to spread the word and don’t forget to get your ticket as numbers are limited this year!

Fellowship of the Spirit 2009!

Once more we will be getting together towards the end of the summer.

This year the Speaker will be Peter M. from Union, NJ and the conference will take place over the last weekend in August. Note that the venue will change this year.

We will have more info up here once everything is booked and confirmed.

Only a few days until FOTS Ireland 2008 is on!

Well there are only a few days left until the 2008 Fellowship of the Spirit conference is on.

The time schedule has been added to the Flyers page and in case you haven’t sorted out a place to stay info on this can be found on the accommodation page.

Last year was great fun so we look forward to seeing you next Friday!

Registration open!

We have finally got the tickets for FOTS 2008 ready so registration has begun!

You can either approach a member of the committee directly or if you are not in Dublin, you can head over to the registration page here on the website and purchase your ticket online.

FOTS 2008

Apologies for the late updates but we wanted to have some substantial updates to give so here they are:
The dates for the Fellowship of the Spirit 2008 conference will be August 15 to 17th (third weekend in August, like last year) and the speakers are Jerry E. and John M.

So the weekend we’ve been waiting so long for has come and gone.

We would just like to thank everyone who came and we hope you had as much fun as we did!

For some statistics:

There were about 130 tickets sold and we were left with just under €100 in excess of expenses (this number is to be confirmed when all expenses have been accounted for). We would like to use this chance to reiterate the fact that this event is and always will be a non-profit event. We are self supporting through our own contributions and any excess money will be carried on to the next year.

In case you missed it, the whole thing was recorded and the speaks will be up on XA-Speakers soon (link on the right hand side). We have also started burning copies so if you’re close you can get your hands on the CD set.

And now that it’s all over there is nothing left to do but to start planning next years event. We will start posting information about it very soon so keep watching this space!

Give freely of what you find and join us. We shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit, an you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the Road of Happy Destiny.  May God bless you and keep you-until then.

Well with only a week to go the time schedule for the weekend is finally ready!

Travelling alone?

Hi all,

As the weekend we’ve all been waiting for draws closer, more and more people are booking their tickets and accommodation.

A few people who will be travelling alone have contacted us looking for people to share rooms with at the Skylon Hotel so if you’re on your own and don’t mind sharing a room to cut your costs a bit, just drop a line to info@fotsireland.com (or on the contact page) and we’ll get you in touch with fellow travellers!

Shopping cart added for registration

For those of you who are outside the Dublin area, we’ve added a Paypal shopping cart so you can order your tickets and pay securely with your credit card or your paypal account. All the details are on the registration page including the link to the shopping cart.

We would recommend getting your tickets soon since the sales are really taking off and the ticket number is limited.
